This is the very first English Wych Elm ever in the Studio, recently acquired from a wonderful mill that sourced directly from its origin in England. The burl and grain are fabulous.
Both ends can be cut square as desired, as well as the Live Edge to your desired shape.
Water clear epoxy will fill any natural inclusions for a perfectly flat and user friendly surface. Butterfly inlays are certainly a fantastic option on the right side cracks if preferred.
This is one of a pair acquired, but would be perfect as a Dining Table for a narrower space.
