This is the very first English Wych Elm ever in the Studio, recently acquired from a wonderful mill that sourced directly from its origin in England. As two boards were acquired this Book Match is a rare and wonderful selection.
Both ends can be cut square as desired, as well as the Live Edge to your desired shape.
Water clear epoxy will fill any natural inclusions for a perfectly flat and user friendly surface. Butterfly inlays are certainly a fantastic option on the right side cracks if preferred.
