I was luckily able to procure another pair of these Curly Cherry boards, just stunning patterning and color. As it is virtually impossible to capture the beauty of the curly figuring before finishing there are photos in the slideshow of the other pair from the same log.
At one time Cherry was one of the most requested species in my work. It ages wonderfully, deepening in color, and is such a fabulous complement to current palettes. One of my brass or bronze base design finishes would be delightful, accentuating the variable grain.
The size is perfect for intimate gatherings yet large enough to seat 14 comfortably.
