Book Matched Black Walnut Slab WV1279-23 has the quintessential hourglass shape, minimal yet delineated sapwood, rich color, and great figuring. It is ideal if you prefer a hint of movement in the outer edge, interesting grain and burl, and a width that can accommodate 2 guests at each end for larger gatherings. 10′ lengths are selling quickly as they are suitable for open floor plan kitchens and formal dining rooms. Can seat up to 14.
We can easily customize this slab to suit your dimensional needs although we would love to see it finished at its maximum size.
