The shapes of each board of this matched pair are such that they can be joined in two different ways. While more rectilinear forms are often preferred, the more organic look of a curvier live edge can be exciting.
Either choice will result in a fabulous Black Walnut Slab Top with wonderful burl and the perfect amount of visual interest in the grain movement. Any natural inclusions will be filled with clear epoxy for a defect free smooth surface.
