It is always fantastic to find a pair of rare Book Matched Black Walnut boards with soft, weeping grain patterns as this. It is reminiscent of ripples on a pond, soft and soothing. The left side natural inclusions will be filled with epoxy for an absolutely defect free, perfect surface. The soft hourglass shape only varies in width by four inches, virtually undetectable when seated. We can certainly sculpt the Live Edges for a more rectilinear shape if preferred, as well as tint the visible sapwood to blend with the warm heartwood.

It certainly will have presence in any space at 2 1/4″ thick and can seat 12 comfortably, possibly 14 for larger gatherings.
