We hand sculpt the four Solid Ash Tapered Spindle Legs by hand, custom sized to ensure the stability of the Coffee Table while bringing visual balance to the thick slab. They have the same intense black, ebonized finish, although a different wood species could be a complementary feature adding visual interest.
Ash is exceptionally remarkable with a stained or color treated finish as the textured grain pattern is actually enhanced. A similar color on another species would obscure the grain, however the beauty of this slab is magnified with the finish.
