Adaptable Design
This adaptable design option allows for easy delivery into spaces with tight parameters such as elevators, narrow hallways, staircases, etc., that might not otherwise be able to accommodate an 11′ x 40″ slab.
The Live Edge Book Matched Black Walnut Slab Dining Table is fabricated into two sections, joined by the Solid Brass Butterfly Inlays.
The slab as shown is cut into two sections across the center. Specially designed brackets are fabricated for additional stability underneath the joint connecting the slabs. Surface inlays such as Butterflies shown above are options, as the seam becomes virtually undetectable once joined.
The length and width of this Live Edge Dining Table is perfect for the customer’s space. The two piece design allowed it to fit into the Manhattan Apartment elevator whereas as typical table top would not otherwise fit.
