This design was recently updated and now shown with Jeffrey’s Inverted Folded Trapezoid Base. This pairing offers maximum legroom with no obstruction given the pedestal style with open center. Additionally, the same base design can be used whether you prefer a two piece or three piece version with the center console.

The very latest Special Commission is a collaborative project with a highly respected designer. She presented Jeffrey with the concept of a Yin Yang dining table top that could separate into two independent pieces. Jeffrey studied the idea with freehand drawings, and presented the decorator with a design integrating his Icthys Bases with the unusual top.
When the client inquired about the possibility of providing an extension option to enlarge the table, Jeffrey drew the wiggly center console that fits between the yin yang tables to add 25″ to the table length while providing a great looking side server when the extra length isn’t required.
This stunning piece consists of two stand alone Dining Tables that, when placed together, form a Yin Yang. Each table is paired with a custom finished Ichthys Base. The two piece Tao Table measures 10′ in length, 60″ width, and 30″ high. An additional stand alone Console (60″ x 36″ x 30″) with Solid Black Walnut Board Legs in a complementary design can be inserted between the Yin Yang pieces for a single Elliptical Table, measuring a total length of 12’1″ x 60″ wide x 30″ high.
