Letter from the customer:
“As we were cleaning and caring for our furniture after the holidays this year, it occurred to us that we should tell you how much we have LOVED the pieces we have that you made. Our “collection” began with two coffee tables that bought in the mid-80’s – one of Padauk and Wenge primarily with Amaranth accents, and the other one “commissioned” to be made of a slab of walnut that appears to be somewhat akin to some of the pieces you are creating now. When we got married in 1989, my parents gave us money for a dining room table and chairs, having heard how much we admired your pieces.
Those pieces have traveled with us across the country… A requirement of each of our homes has been that they graciously accommodate the dining room set. We’ve attached pictures from the New Mexico and Oregon homes so you can see how the dining room set has shown off in each setting.
The furniture has been a part of many important aspects of our lives. As a family, we ate all of our meals around the table… It was also the favored place for homework when parental help was needed. It has been the scene of family Christmas dinners of sizes ranging from four to nearly a dozen, as well as hosting small dinners or holding the buffet for larger gatherings. It has never failed to garner notice and admiration, particularly the leaves and chairs. A criterion of our Oregon house as we designed it was that it be able to accommodate the dining room set.
