Live Edge Slab WV1549-12 is unquestionably unique, rare, rustic, and sensational. While all our work is treated as functional art, this Spalted Maple Slab is above and beyond. The multitude of colors and grain patterning is fabulous, providing incredible visual movement and interest. We fill any natural inclusions and voids with clear epoxy resin for a defect-free surface. There are multiple opportunities for surface butterfly inlays, either to compliment or contrast the Maple hues.
If you are looking for a more rustic Live Edge Slab in a lighter shade, this is ideal. If you prefer a more rectilinear shape, scroll through the slideshow to see it at an average 48″ width. We often softly sculpt the outer Live Edges as preferred. You can seat 10 more than comfortably, 10 for larger gatherings. Virtually any Base Design we offer can pair wonderfully with Live Edge Slab WV1549-12.
