Live Edge Slab WV1387-78 has all of the most requested characteristics we are frequently asked to provide. It is amazingly rectilinear, it has subdued, straight grain, yet also some visual interest at the ends. Very few surface inlays will be necessary as it is incredibly defect free. The symmetry of this book matched slab is amazing, as is the very minimal lighter sapwood along the edges.
As it is pictured completely raw and unfinished, it will have the warm, rich, deep color of Black Walnut once the oil is applied.
The size is ideal to seat 10 comfortably. As it can be up to 50″ wide, 12 can be accommodated for larger gatherings. Virtually any Base will work wonderfully as the width allows for sensational legroom no matter the design.
