This spectacular slab is the widest of the three pairs of Book Matched Black Walnut from the same log. Live Edge Slab WV1315-78 is astounding at 54″ wide, with subtle grain and an unbelievably rectilinear shape. The minimal sapwood frames this fabulous slab and peeks through the left end, a rare feature, adding visual interest. Once fully finished it will have a lustrous matte finish accentuating the wonderful burl.
It is a delight to find such a rare pair in an 8′ length, and at 54″ wide there is seating for 10 and possibly 12 at larger gatherings.
Great rooms, open floor plan homes, and office gathering spaces are perfect settings for this Slab as a completed table, surely a sensational focal point.
