Book Matched Black Walnut Slabs are a rare find at this extraordinary width and highly desirable 8′ length. This is yet another spectacular slab just released after years of air-drying and slow-kilning. Live Edge Slab WV1262-89 has wonderfully unique grain that will be far more pronounced and stunning once fully finished. It has a fairly consistent width and slight hourglass shape, the perfect combination of practicality and natural features. It has very distinctive sapwood that frames the wonderful slab, yet it can also be tinted for a more even color throughout the surface. Once fully finished it will have a lustrous matte finish accentuating the wonderful figuring on the right end and fabulous Walnut color.
