Live Edge Slab WV1127-56 is fairly rectilinear for such a long Book Matched Black Walnut. We can softly sculpt the outer edges at the right end for a more consistent overall width, as shown in the slideshow. The feather grain patterns add to its wonderful visual interest, particularly at the right and center. They are the result of “crotch” areas where a branch is knitted to the trunk.
As the image is a simulation of the largest size possible of Live Edge Slab WV1127-56, it can easily be sized to suit your dimensional needs. Additionally, the photo shows the slab raw before any sanding and finishing, so the final completed table will be stunning.
This slab can accommodate 16 comfortably, perhaps 18 if needed for larger gatherings. Moreover, it is ideal for a show-stopping Conference Table.
This slab requires three standard bases to offer maximum stability. If you select a larger pedestal design, however, the bases can be custom sized for visual balance.
