With a recent demand for large Single Slabs, I discovered several fabulous Elm boards with wonderful local history. Live Edge Slab GH32-8 has an amazingly rectangular shape, the slightest hint of sapwood, and an extra Live Edge features on the left end. This shorter option is just perfect for a smaller dining area, or fabulous in an eat in kitchen. It has soft, interesting grain patterns that will be far more lustrous when fully finished. The color of lighter shade species vary greatly and this will have a warm honey tone. We offer custom color finishes if you prefer a slightly different shade, but our preference is always to let the natural color to take center stage.
The small cracks and bark inclusions are ideal for either a clear epoxy fill and/or butterfly surface inlays.
The size easily accommodates 8 with plenty of room.
