This latest Red Elm is extraordinarily rare at this size, particularly in this practical shape. It has relatively straight grain yet wonderful patterning in the center. The bark inclusion on the left will be filled with epoxy for a defect-free surface, and alternately is an excellent candidate for butterfly inlays.
The color is a light to medium brown with a hint of red, the perfect midway between the deeper walnut and lighter maple.
Once fully finished the wonderful grain will be visually stunning.
WV1399-3 can comfortably accommodate 12 guests. Virtually any base design we offer would be lovely paired with it.
