Given the recent popularity of Single Slabs, and those in the 6′ range, this is a fabulous find. It is yet another astoundingly rare, figured Single Bastogne Walnut with deep, rich color.
Small cracks will be filled with clear epoxy for a defect-free surface, which can also be made a lovely feature with the intentionality of a surface butterfly inlay. Additionally, the edges can be softly sculpted for a more rectilinear shape.
