Folded Flame Wood Slab Desk
This is a new addition. The Folded Flame Solid Black Walnut Wood Slab Desk has continuos grain pattern from one base to another. At the request of a prominent New England Architecture firm, Jeffrey designed this desk for one of their clients. The inlays can be done in aluminum or a variety of wood and metal.
This design is made from a single, wide Live Edge Plank and not a glue up of unmatched boards. This contemporary classic design is made from a Single Live Edge Wood Plank with one Straight Finished Edge. There is a continuity of the grain that adds significantly to the presence of this piece. The edges can be straight finished or live edge. While the inlays are in Brass in the image shown above, they can be done in aluminum or a variety of wood and metal. It is extremely versatile as it can be used as a Coffee Table or Bench.
