Live Edge Slab B8226M02 is a delightful California Cottonwood Book Match with light burly figuring at the live edges. We have created several tables with this species, given the continued popularity of the lighter shades. What fabulous coloration and sensational, unique grain patterning! Its visual interest and more saturated hues fit perfectly in homes with a muted color palette. This is sourced from a high end Northeast mill with an expansive inventory.
Even with the burl and organic movement at the edges, the variation in width is only 2″ along the entire length. This allows us to maintain the natural shape and beauty with no effect on the seating of guests. Additionally, it is ideal for a smaller dining space such as in a condo or apartment, and seats 8 comfortably.
Another option is to add butterfly inlays on the surface in a complimentary material like ebony or walnut, perhaps in a finish to bring in other accents in your space.
