Live Edge Slab B8359X04 is yet another stunning Single Claro Walnut we are pleased to add to our offerings. As the image is incredibly blurry, additional images of the raw slab that show off the grain are available upon request. As Claro Walnut grows more quickly than Black Walnut it can have more dramatic grain patterning. The slight reddish undertones add a particular brilliance to the finished surface.
We show this Slab at is full length, including the huge right end where the main trunk widened significantly. While the shape is unusual, there is no hinderance to any guests once seated and there are clear sight lines. This Claro Walnut is for fans of the truly organic, rare, huge Single Slabs that present a dramatic visual.
The visible sapwood along both Live Edges draws the eye along the length and accentuates the fabulous features.
The soft curve to the slab is subtle enough to add visual movement while remaining entirely practical for guests when seated.
This Slab can accommodate 10 guests and would be a show-stopping Conference Table.
