This wonderful Book Matched Ambrosia Maple Slab WV1368-56 undoubtedly has a fabulous grain pattern that will finish in shades of lighter browns, contrasting to the paler heartwood. While it is certainly a candidate for custom colors, the natural features will be stunning with a pure finish.
The main image shows it with straight finished edges, perfectly rectilinear, at a consistent 42″ width. Alternately, if you prefer the natural live edge, scroll through the slideshow to see the slab maximized at 42″ wide at the ends and 46″ in the center. Either option would indeed make for a sensational table with its unique visual presentation and color.
This is the second of two Book Matches selected from the same log. The first sold quickly, as aficionados of rare wood slabs recognize the potential in the remarkable pair, even unfinished.
It is highly practical and provides ample seating for 10, 12.
