What a fabulous find, a Book Matched Red Elm at 16′ long and 50″ wide. It features interesting burl and inclusions on the right, all will be filled with clear epoxy for a defect free surface. This Slab is perfect candidate for a two-piece table or extension leaves, shown here. The size would make for a show-stopping Live Edge Conference Table, imagine the visual it presents upon entering your gathering space.
The color is warm and rich, surprisingly similar in appearance when raw to Black Walnut. The price is phenomenal as Book Matched Slabs at this length and width are easily double the price.
This slabs seats 18 comfortably and a possible 20 for larger gatherings.
