This is the stunning Book Match from a recently procured Red Elm Slabs. The soft hourglass shape is entirely practical as it is over the full 13′ length, yet it can certainly be sculpted for a more rectilinear shape. A slight crop of the right end leaving just a hint of the lovely natural “crotch” area adds to a more refined appearance.
The color is warm and rich, surprisingly similar in appearance when raw to Black Walnut. The price is phenomenal as Book Matched Slabs at this length and width are easily double the price.

This slabs seats 14 comfortably and a possible 16 for larger gatherings.
This length may require three bases if you select a design typically seen as a pair. We are happy to provide assistance to achieve the look you want. It will surely be the centerpiece of any space it occupies.
