This Single Sipo Mahogany Slab is wonderfully rectilinear and straight-grained, with lovely subtle sapwood. The reddish hue is warm and understated. It’s a fabulous find, extremely reasonably priced as compared to other exotic species.
The crack on the left end is perfect for complementary Butterfly Inlays in either wood or metal, and at minimum will be filled with clear epoxy resin for a defect-free surface.
You can seat 14 people comfortably or 16 for larger gatherings. Virtually any Base Design will work with a Slab of this size.
